The crew will choose between a full steam clean and a low-moisture method depending on the mattress type and the weather. Memory foam and latex mattresses can be sensitive to water, so the crew keeps moisture to a minimum on those. Innerspring and pocket spring mattresses handle a full extraction well. Either way, open a window and run a fan while it dries, and keep the bed stripped until the surface feels dry to the touch.
